Haliç University is a foundation university established in Istanbul in 1998 by Our Foundation for Children with Leukemia.
It was established by the law no. 4324 dated 14 January 1998, published in the Official Gazette dated 18 January 1998, and is affiliated with the Rectorate, including the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Business Administration, School of Nursing, School of Fisheries, School of Physical Education and Sports. Haliç University, which includes the Institute of Health Sciences and the Conservatory, started education and training on 23 November 1998.
As of today, the university has approximately 17,000+ students, including associate degree, undergraduate, master's degree and doctoral/art proficiency programs in (8) Faculties, (1) Conservatory, (1) Vocational School, (2) Graduate Schools and (1) Institute with whom continues its teaching activities.
